Medical Conditions

Well for me i used to get all lighthead for about 2 minutes then it would stop and that would be it. Now its constantly happening in splooges over the day. Usually during after school. The most common times it would happen is at night out in the public instead of being inside the house just relaxing. So far its only gotten to the extreme once where i wouldnt be able to stay at work and i had to go home early. The only tests iv'e had for this so far is blood sugar (cause my mums diabetic) and eye test. Both fine. I've learnt that keeping myself occupied (school is a great example) keeps it from happening. I guess when i grow the bullocks im gonna get more tests done. I've been doing a bit of research and i think i may have anxiety. And it might be true because i often don't like socialising under my own free will e.g partys, get togethers..etc. Anyways the point of this post is just to see if anyone has any knowledge for your illness you have. I'm only 14 btw

I'm too sexy. It's reaching the point where it's really uncomfortable around other people. Sometimes it's even hard just to walk down the street without somebody trying to hump my leg. I've seen a few doctors about it to get some test but they keep trying to hit on me. What do I do?

PurpleRain:
What do I do?

Stop walking by the mental hospital. That'll stop the people humping your leg.

Walk around town in the nude and that will clear up all delusions of sexyness in no time.

I believe I can fix that right up. What's your address and when will you next be naked?

I think the best piece of advice random strangers can give you on the internet is that you shouldn't take medical advice from random strangers on the the internet. If it's affecting you in a way that hinders your ability to function, go to a doctor.

Edit: Don't self diagnose, it can cause more problems in the long run. For example, my mother thought she had eczema for twelve years. She treated herself for years without consulting a doctor and it never went away. Two years ago she finally went to the doctor and found out she had heavy metal poisoning which is easily treatable, but had done a lot of damage before she ever got to the doctor.

Might be a little OCD.

Drink more. Not alcohol, water. A lack of fluids can do this to your brain. I experanced it for a while and found it hard to sleep. So I spoke to my Dad and he told me to drink more, I did and it has helped a lot. Perhaps you should try it.

Beat yourself with an ugly stick. Or get someone else to do it for you.

I couldn't agree more.
Go see a doctor. If he tells you it's harmless then you don't have to worry any longer and if he tells you it's serious he'll also tell you what to do about it.
Your symptoms can mean pretty much anything so don't assume the worst, please. Also, please don't convince yourself that you have a psychological condition because you most likely don't. Some people are more outgoing than others and being shy with 14 doesn't mean being it for the rest of your life.

LOL Good one.

And try looking up stuff on WebMD.com, that would probably help you out a good bit.

That actually reminded me, I went to WebMD, and among other possibilities, I may have the same condition as Stephen Hawkings.

Sounds like an inner ear problem to tell you the truth. Next time you go to the doctor tell them about it and see what they think. I have a friend with similar problems, but he has vertigo. He randomly falls over sideways, and sometimes faints. Its really funny when hes trying to look cool while wailing out on guitar hero and takes a rock stance on the couch, and then falls over.

I'm more concerned for the people humping your leg, they obviously didn't pay attention in sex ed.

Delusional Disorder

What I find helps me not game to much is to stop gamign for a few hours or days.
Yes, I'm one of those people who can just get up and leave for a while. I don't obsess for two reasons:
1. Doing that is rediculously idiotic
2. If I did, my brother would accuse me of having no life. Although his insult usually is followed by my retort "Well, what about you? You're a level 112 Runescape player. You're a pretty big hypocrit."

I'm not diabetic, but I am hypersensitive to blood sugar levels. If I haven't eaten in a while, I am either crazier than the mad hatter or the woman scorned, like which hell hath no fury than. (POTC qoute, mind you.)

Never thought I'd find myself typing this, but QFE. Light headedness? Dear lord, that could be malnutrition, dehydration, inner ear problems, low blood pressure, high blood pressure, anxiety or epilepsy. Or it could be menstruation. Or maybe haemorrhaging (I love my spell checker). Or meningitis. Or wearing shoes made out of polystyrene peanuts. Or unconscious horniness.

Yeah.. go to a doctor if it worries you enough.

PurpleRain, I recommend one of these. It'll solve your problem forever. http://i.imdb.com/Photos/Ss/0073629/10

You're turning into a robot too? Coool.

Doesn't Stephen Hawking have a case of the "Too Sexy's"? I hear his wheeled butt is pretty savvy with the ladies.

I have Rosacea. Frankly, it's a very nice name for having flushed cheeks.

The closest thing I have is sectoral heterochromia. Which sounds cool, but it just means one eye has two different colours in it. (My left eye has both brown and that kinda grey which can vary from green to blue depending on light.)

Oh yeah, it's about medical conditions... I have epididymitis which is essentially an inflammation of a portion of the testicle. Every once in a while it hits me and I feel like I'm being constantly kicked in the nuts for a few days, it isn't fun and apparently there is no way to get rid of it permanently.

I dont have any strict medical problems although I do have a speech impedement. I cant say c, s, x or z, it sounds alot like static on a radio. Its not bad enough to prevent me from talking to people and Im still good with the laydeez but it can be a pain in the ass when Im on the phone.

I'm suffering from a recurring delusion of a place on the internet, where people with senses of humour have intelligent debate about a variety of topics, prominantly video games.

I didn't even finish with the paragraph before I started thinking, "Oh, sounds like panic attacks, which suck but can be managed."

This is my personal experience, having fought anxiety and panic for about 20 years (more, if you count all the years I didn't know what was happening to me and everyone else was just writing if off as teenage angst and drama-mongering.)

I was treated under the standard theory, which is that panic attacks are you body triggering the fight-or-flight response way too easily. I always compare it to a crappy car alarm. Sure, it goes off if someone tries to jack your car. It also goes off if a cat walks over your car, or if someone sets a coffee cup on the hood, or a bus drives by and shakes it, etc.

None of these treatments worked. Tranks and anti-anxiety meds just made it harder to control my response to the panic and did nothing to assuage the panic itself.

It wasn't until I got treated, in my late 30's no less, for ADD that my panic attacks stopped. It turns out that people with ADD have a hard time focusing and filtering out extraneous stimuli, and so get overwhelmed with too much input, like an electrical circuit being overloaded until it blows out. I mention this since you seem to be getting these attacks in situations where there is just a lot of information coming at you.

There are lots of techniques to deal with this, as well as medication options. With any luck, you'll find a doctor who is willing to listen rather than just throw pills at you.

As other people mentioned, however, this could be an indicator of a lot of medical problems, even something as simple as an ear infection. All you are going to get off the internet, when it comes right down to it, is personal experiences, smart-assed remarks, and encouragement to go to the doctor for a real diagnosis. I recommend the third.

somebody has pulled.
But yes you might want to have a few more tests you never know things might get worse and you may end up fainting and then who knows what. But hay may just be me and my paranoia. Im on to you god *shakes fist at god*

What the hell are you asking people here for? Have the doc examine your head for even thinking about it when you go and see him. Good lord man!

Now, I have had similar problems and amazingly enough it was from airborne allergies, or so it seems. I can see anxiety playing a part as well. There are medications for both, but I think the anxiety one makes you practically retarded and you start drooling on yourself you are so out of it. If you get really dizzy, could be a minor form of vertigo as well. An ENT can tell you for sure.

So, good luck! :)

On an unrelated note, searching which came from this post led to me reading up on psychopathy.

A strange sign?

Laydeez? Is that slang for hookers?
