Critical Miss: Subtle Parallels Pages 1 2 3 4 NEXT
Like, really really subtle.
Hmmm i'm wondering where you're going with this one? teehee.
Well that was certainly a cat-tastrophe!
D'awwww, what a cute kit- NO! Bad kitty! Paws of my PS3!
Hamsters live in their own filth and cannibalize their young. Anonymous.
It was all funny until the South america joke :P
That sounds more like 4chan to me >)
Like. Kinda getting behind the lip now, can dig it.
Ah the cat, the only pet that thinks they own you not the other way around. That's why I prefer dogs.
I don´t get it. Am i missing something here?
Hhahahah! Thats hysterical!
Can someone explain this one. I just can't seem to grasp the arcane intellect behind it.
I guess the reference is so subtle, I didn't get it. Captain Obvious to the rescue, please?
Well, the cat is name Geohot... And each panel is a stab at the PS3 hacker of that name, with parallels to the news articles about him. Edit: Also, beware the ills of unnoticed sarcasm. ;3
An idiot hacker called geohot hacked the ps3 was sued and gave up straight away
Note to self, Sarcasm doesn't translate well into digital media.
No it doesn't. | |
Oh my god, that was fucking brilliant.
Ah so that is where Erin got her pet that turns up in every frame with her in, in the other comics? (note: I'm still not saying "her rat") Also you consistently make me laugh each week, thank you!
I can say nothing but xD | |
I guess being a nerd poster boy for the next 5 years, as a long, drawn-out and tiresome court case drags out and consumes every facet of his life, just didn't appeal to him that much and he figured he had better things to do than be a symbol for other people to senslessly idolize. Then again...maybe he reaaaaally shouldn't have been as vocal about it when it all started to begin with if he wasn't actually going to follow up on his boasts. So I can't say he didn't earn some of this 'subtleness' heheh. But hey...if he did indeed donate the funds he recieved from people, as was said,...he's alright in my book.
OT: Good comic, as usual. Probably the best webcomic out there, for me.
Since the animal in the display on the last panel looks like her fancy rat , i am guessing this happened in her past(so you are probably right). Also how bad is it when the first thing i notice in panel 2 is her tatoo
Subtle... | |
Aren't they synonymous?
*giggles childishly* Back on-topic: Wonder if Erin had to kitty proof the Ps3
4chan are consumer advocates?
No, what I mean is... wait... ARE 4chan consumer advocates? Also, would it be 4chan is, since they are more a single mass of bile from the depths of hell? Sort of like Shoggoths,
Sometimes, a news story requires the sledgehammer approach to sarcasm. This was such a time.
There's actually a subtle reference to 4Chan in the first two words of this comic.
No. | |
Troll-comic. I hope it's a troll comic anyway.
My thoughts exactly, Legion. My thoughts exactly.
I would find this a lot more funny if I gave a damn about the whole PS3 hacker shenanigans, and thus was well-learned about it. It's a right shame too, since Allegorical humor is usually my favorite kind of humor....
Check the whole Geo Hotz deal against Sony. For me this joke was awesome... I just reall don't like that lil' kitten Geototz. :P
I dont understand? The cat represents Dragon Age, right? Or Valve?
