Jim & Yahtzee's Rhymedown Spectacular: To Game Or Not To Game Pages 1 2 3 NEXT
Put on your poetry hats and join two of the greatest wordsmiths of our generation as they fill your ears with verse.
Time to go to fanfiction.net and write us all some Yahtzee X chesthigh wall fanfiction.
Loved both. This has really got the makings of a great series and Jim's dark souls references were all spot on. Keep up the amazing work.
Best one from Jim thus far, no doubt. Yahtzee's was good too, though probably my personal least favorite of his 3.
So Yahtzee's equating the rocky chest-high walls to women, right? So what the hell were those metal slabs that sprung out of the ground with a switch in Gears of War 2 supposed to be then?
Dark Souls could use some chest high walls.
Booth were good this week, but why does Yahtzee still stand at a David Caruso degrees angle to the mic?
Well done. You both make my Wednesdays wonderfully lovely.
Yahtzee looks a little crazy in this one.
Surely you've heard jokes of inflatable women?
I'm really liking these videos. Clever and fun, both of them.
Dammit, Yahtzee, you messin' with my woman?!
great poems, but i disagree with jim!
This is rapidly becoming my absolute favorite show. Bravo gentlemen. Bravo.
I liked Jim better this time. Praise the Jim!
Really liking this show more and more with every new episode, it's just plain fun!
Goddam I love these so much.
Overall, Jim's was better, HOWEVER, the mid-section of Yahtzee's was an absolute knockout. Deciding which of these two is better is like asking me what I like best out of pizza or a steak dinner - even if I pick one, the other is still pretty damn good!
Insightful and entertaining, the prose commentary from two of the escapsists most thought provoking content providers is a welcome addition to the weekly line up. Chock full of relevent references and original rhymes, Jim & Yahtzee's Rhymedown Spectacular is a series I hope will continue to inspire both laughter and discussion in the weeks to come. Bravo.
As someone who hasn't actually played Dark Souls, I can't tell whether Jims poem is any good. Ryhmes well though.
Loving these more and more each week. =D
To be fair, I thought he looked somewhat crazy in all of them.
Jim that was your best one yet. PRaise the Sun and Praise Jim! Props for using the awesome Ornstein and Smough track in the end too.
I'm impressed, Jim. This was much better than your two previous performances. Yahtzee was great as always, though my favorite performance of his is still from the very first of these videos. I'm very much enjoying Rhymedown Spectacular :D
Way to be marvelous peeps.
Don't really have much to say other than I really like this series and vote for its continuation. Thanks!
Touché. I should have said "crazy (even for Yahtzee)."
"Chest High Walls' been in the biz' since Super Mario World"
When Yahtzee revealed who the wife was I had to pause the video because it made me laugh for about half a minute. Well done, sir.
Mine too, I feel spoiled, like Yahtzee is doing another Wolfenstein limerick review every week. Jim's are pretty good too.
I know not if this fits here; if not is it a crime? She sends her mixed signals her intentions never clear Why do I put myself through this? I've been through this before! The sea have more than one fish; the forest more than one tree
Best from Jim so far. Maybe he's hitting his stride here. Keep it up!
This is just the most wonderful thing. Please don't ever stop.
In just 3 Episodes, this has really become my favorite show on the Escapist. And yeah, this time I liked Jim better than Yahtzee, altough both were absolutely fantastic. As always.
I'm loving this. It's funny, but it's true. :P
A chest high wall won't make you a sandwich. :P
Jim was really good this time, liked it even better than Yahtzee's =]
