Spanner remembers the arcades of his youth: Dingy smoke-filled places of the lowest sort. Sadly, as the scene changed, there was no longer any place for these places, and they are now a lost, but not forgotten, piece of a single generation's childhood.

Agh, page dies at the e-accent in Cafe on the second page =(

Boo! Incomplete article, just when it was getting good too. :(

The arcade has been dead for years. First, they stopped making pinball machines, then everyone began releasing 'me too' games. The arcade 'died' once the originality was sucked out of the games.
