019: Using "Science!" to Answer Absurd Questions, Fun DRM in Games
In this episode of The Escapist's Science and Tech podcast, host CJ Miozzi and Escapist writers talk about XKCD author Randall Munroe's new book, What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions, unusual anti-piracy measures in games, and a surprising study that revealed that you hurt the environment more by downloading large games than buying them on disk.
What I would like to see with the digital distribution study is someone to take the data they used for the PS3 version and apply it to the different models of the consoles and the current generation of hardware since the newer consoles are designed to download in the background when everything else is off and the only way to truly turn those consoles off is to disconnect them from the wall I believe.
