Non-Player Counselor: Megaman Hates Kickstarter
This week Megaman calmly and rationally explains his frustration at the Mighty Number 9 Kickstarter. Yep, calm and rational.
That noise in the intro sounded like pyramid head. ...which makes me kind of disappointed it wasn't pyramid head. The receptionist response possibilities would be endless.
I don't know what's more damaging: what the "Mega Man" voice did to one of your throats, or what it did to my ears. I'd prefer just about any voice, even the child's voice from Mega Man 7. Raspy voice aside, humor's good as ever.
HA! I got that BECK reference! Also, now I want to see a battle between Mega Man and a Belmont... Robotic "Vampire" vs "Traditional" Dracula Slayer...
For some reason, I was hearing him as Beavis, without the "Heh Heh"'s. So when did Capcom launch a kickstarter project for a new Mega Man game? That doesn't sound made up.
Ditto here! I was fully expecting Mr Fan of Egypt to appear there. Good episode overall. Nice dig on the shady Kickstarter business, and I liked the take on MM's new "power".
I have to admit, the gambling loss and "Let's do another kickstarter" was spot on hilarious, in that it felt cathartic enough for me to let go of my frustration at Inafune and company's antics of late. I'm still disappointed at them, but I'm no longer wound up tight enough to eat coal and shit diamonds.
Ah, Ellipses. The sweet song of silence.
Yeah, I thought it was pyramid head too.....Wait a minute... Have Cloud and Pyramid Head ever been seen in the same room? <.<
Fans of the series wanted a new Megaman game. One is being made. The fans are upset. To quote Mayor Quimby; "You're nothing but a pack of fickle mush-heads!" But seriously, make up your minds.
It was a pretty special joke to us too, glad you liked it
