Dr StrangeErin, or how I...

Yowsa. Okay. That video made may day "You choose not to listen to your bomb diffusal manual operator..."

Shake it? We're not using a Wiimote to defuse a bomb! Quit trying to defuse the situation with motion control humor...

Other than that, have you tried turning it off and on again?

Reminds me of the evil response to Moria Brown in Fallout 3 when you tell her that to diffuse a landmine you have to jump up and down on it really hard.

Imagine memorizing those 23 pages, then defuse any bomb solo. I'd watch that.

Another entry in the collection of strips I call, "References to games I'm currently not playing." The joke is flying so far above my head, the FAA can't find it.

"A bomb is made to explode. That's its meaning. Its purpose. Your life is empty because you spend it trying to stop the bomb from becoming. And for who? For what? You know what a bomb is, Jack, that doesn't explode? It's a cheap gold watch, buddy."

It's Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.

I would never willingly put my life in Erin's hands. Too many opportunities for 'fun' on her side of things.

so is this game playable without VR? when I first read about it, it seemed like a VR exclusive kind of thing, and after watching the video, I can see how VR would have been really cool with this. but without VR, I might actually be able to give this a chance.

To be honest I think this game looks awesome but I'm hesitant to buy. Its not exactly super cheap and I dunno if I know anyone who'd play it.

I've been playing it without VR. It's not really a "party" game though, you're best off playing with one other pall so you can get to know each other's call-outs. If you're playing with more, one person will usually end up shouting the loudest, and the others will feel left out.

I had a quick look at some videos playing it both with and without Oculus.

The VR thing seems cute but...well...very unnecessary to be honest from what I've seen.

I've played it with Skype friends. One of them can't read Morse code when he's defusing the bomb. It's frustrating.

I've also played it with my parents. They're not so good with the defusing controls, but they're great experts.

I too, fucking lost it at that point. Imagine the very last words you hear in your life are, "Well. You chose not to listen to me! It's not like I'm a bomb diffusal manual operator or an-"

I don't know, Erin being psycho is enough for me.

Are they playing the game, or did Erin decide to larp it for fun?

That ... That's just evil lol.

OT: To be honest, as much as I like Erin- I wouldn't trust her even if she could save my life while handling any dangerous situation. I'd rather let go of the cliff than grab her hand personally >_>

Hell, half the fun of the game was finding new ways to be the type of evil worthy of a old timey twirling mustache.

BTW love the avatar although I prefer Cerea myself.
