Sweet, maybe now i'll actually start watching the Grammy's. I'd like to see The World Ends With You get nominated for something, it probably wouldn't win but it still deserves to be nominated.

Let's not forget the C&C series, it has a lot of good music.

And if the trailer is anything to go on, i would preemptivly nominate Skyrim's soundtrack.

Well this is good.
What music would the Escapist userbase nominate?

Jesper Kyd for his work in Assassins Creed. (series)

Jeremy Soule for his work in The Elder Scrolls. (series)

Harry Gregson-Williams for his work in Metal Gear Solid. (series)

Gred Edmonson for his work in Uncharted. (series)

Inon Zur for his work in Dragon Age. (series)

Inon Zur for his work in Fallout 3

Michael Giacchino for his work in Metal of Honor. (series)

Martin O'Donnell for his work in Halo. (series)

Normand Corbeil for his work in Heavy Rain.

Gerard K. Marino and Mike Reagan for their work in God of War. (series)

Yoko Shimomura for her work in Kingdom Hearts. (series)

If the video game industry wants to cop a Grammy for a category that includes the motion picture industry, they better be prepared to spend the kinda money that the motion picture industry spends on lobbying NARAS' voting members. Grammys aren't earned, they're bought.

God of War music.

Some of it works better in the actual game, some of it is just awesome regardless.

Yay! This is awesome =)

I hope someday Greg Edmondson (Uncharted games) gets recognised - his stuff is awesome, and stands up as plain music (i.e. doesn't need the game atmosphere to lend it context)

Also that cello solo in DA:2 is pretty sweet...
