Oh no.

The government officials are looking at porn.

THE HORROR.

Just don't do it too much on the clock, 'kay?

Andronicus:

MrPop:
A lot of those users have 'password' set as their password so I'm guessing they're either silly or they just use that as their passwords for websites that aren't very important.

Really? I can't find any that are just "password".

OK, this is really bad, and I don't condone looking at other peoples passwords in any way shape or form, but it's interesting going down and seeing what people put as their passwords. There's the odd 1111111, or aaaaaaa, but look through and you can find some really good ones. I found a "gollum" in there somewhere. And "naynay12"? What the hell is that supposed to mean.

I love how in movies where they're trying to guess what people have put as a password, and they end up guessing its something emotionally important to the person, like their wife's name or something. And then you see what people really put as their passwords. How are you supposed to guess something like 1111111?

Yeah. There are loads which are literally just "password". Do Ctrl+F search and you'll see.

I also found it funny that someone's password was "sohorny" so I'm guessing he only uses that password for porn... hopefully. There were also quite a few email addresses that sounded unique and like work ones. I thought everyone had a work, for friends and spam email addresses >.>

Am I the only one that thinks the white house one belongs to Obama?

"OK, on one hand: People need to learn what is (and what is not) an appropriate use of taxpayer funds."

LOL WUT? It's their job and they earned the money working at it, why are members of the military/government not allowed to look at pronz? They are adults, they can spend their money however they like.

They're using their work emails to view porn; not normally a problem, but when your job is funded by taxpayers, this complicates issues based on how people expect you to work for (theoretically) the betterment of society instead of looking at porn while you're on the clock.

Implying they are viewing the porn on the clock? Pretty bold statement.

Also Pron.com isn't even a website that you pay for...they just have accounts on it.

This all seems like research you as the publisher should have done.

Varya:
With all the noise Lulzec is making, sooner or later there's gonna be a backslash. I just hope it's them who pays, and not the gamers.

Yeah, this. Having these guys around (or even just the more uppity parts of Anon and the like) is like drinking in a pub with that guy who everyone pretends to be mates with to his face because he's a psycho. One false move (or no move at all) and suddenly, he's fucking your shit up. Although sometimes he attacks your enemies.

Knowing what this lot are like, they're proably guffawing heartily just now....

I don't know... they might just not understand how email works and use their .gov addresses for their private lives as well as their jobs.

That's still a fairly bad thing to do anyway though.

Ninja'd by the first couple posts....WHY WOULD YOU USE YOUR WORK EMAIL! Jesus christ....it just doesn't make any sense at all. Seriously, it takes like 5 minutes to sign up for a G-Mail, Hotmail, Yahoo! account. Use that instead! What a bunch of dumbasses

I think what's more "petty and spiteful" is calling attention to it and providing a link to the actual emails/passwords. Something about that seems really irresponsible for a news site. Never heard of journalistic integrity?

Omg omg government employees watching porn like millions of normal people do too?
Like woah, how dare they!
Burn them at a stake!

On the other hand? Encouraging the internet to hack people's Facebook accounts and shame them for having an account with an adult website that couldn't keep their information secure is beyond ridiculous. It's petty and spiteful.

It's also quite loltastic. You forgot that bit. xD

Am I the only one surprised that people still pay for porn these days? I mean, there have got to be hundreds, if not thousands, of free streaming sites out there now. Porn youtubes, if you will.

You're bit late with news, this was days ago. They just released all internal Bethesda data.

Cheezeypoofs:
I wouldn't be ashamed that people knew I was watching porn, but the fact that people knew I was paying for it. Everybody looks at porn. Smart people know the free sites.

Lol, totally this.

Some of these passwords are interesting. Quite a few of them are girls names for what is probably a guy's email. Although while randomly scrolling, this one stuck out.

Classy. And that doesn't even take into account the 15 "pr0n" passwords I've seen so far. These people know how to deal, man.

Is it weird that I'm reading these and finding them funny? These passwords are fascinating.

these guys are crazy! If they weren't being douchebags to PSN users then I'd enjoy them even more!

Using their work email addresses implies that already.

Also, I never said you pay for an account with the site. Seems like something you as the reader should have noticed.

Yeah basically this

Everyone looks up porn, not surprising that gov officials are.

Who the hell would use their actual email address to register for porn?

Who the hell actually registers for porn?!

I know I don't.
...

I mean, I wouldn't, if I did. Yeah. Totally don't though.

>.>
<.<

[email protected]? The healthcare snitch line? With password karlmarx? Okay, it's obvious now that pron.com does NOT validate e-mails! Anyone can sign up with anything that looks halfway valid. I don't think this list can be entirely trusted.

(Edit: Seriously, look at the number of people who registered for the site with @pron.com domain email addresses.)

LOL I actually love LulzSec, they bring so much lulz to me as long as they don't hack microsoft in which case I will put my serious face on and whip out the good ol axe and hockey mask

Wait. Who CARES if a government agent looks at porn?

Sniper Team 4:
This is a prime example of why I hate hackers.

I can understand hating them for some of their other shenanigans, such as attacking Sony while they were recovering from the original attack, but this seems harmless and funny. What's to hate?

Looks like the government are literally wanking away their budget.

They hacked Bethesda as well and just released enough for any script kiddie to get inside. If you have a bethesda account start cleaning it up! remove any personal info. change passwords.

It's official, no one has respect for anyone's basic human rights anymore.

FalloutJack:
Wait. Who CARES if a government agent looks at porn?

Why are the taxpayers paying for there porn?
While at it why are anyone paying for porn these days? Just google "porn" or something like it and you will get tons of free websites ._.

They should know better than to use their company email for personal business, IE signing up for porn with your .mil .gov address. If they also signed up for facebook with their business address they deserve to be reprimanded.

Thanks for posting that list, so I could see I wasn't on it. Might have been a fun way to let my facebook friends know I am actually a heterosexual, but maybe mom would not care to know the degree to which I like lesbians.

The .mil addresses I can be a little bit lenient about, some of those are probably 18-19-20 something guys out in the field and I can understand a combination of lack of options, hormones, and general 'young and dumb' stupidity. The .gov addresses, not so much one hopes that no one using a .gov would have ANY of those excuses.

Oh wait...

Representative Weiner. Never-mind.

Who pays for porn online anyway? It's like paying for a cookie when there's a table giving out free sample cookies which are virtually the same, there's just some tacky advertisements on the table. I'll deal with ads to save money.

LulzSec Hacks Porn Database, Uncovers .mil And .gov Logins

Who would've guessed that government employees enjoy porn?

Last week was a big week for LulzSec. They hacked Nintendo. They hacked the Sony Computer Entertainment Developer Network. This week is starting off even bigger: The group managed to hack adult website pron.com and nabbed the login information for more than 25,000 accounts. But this isn't the biggest part of the story; instead, the craziest bit is about who LulzSec discovered was logging into the site.

It turns out that a number of accounts on pron.com use .mil and .gov email addresses for login information. Not only that, but it was discovered that 55 administrators and webmasters from other porn websites have accounts with pron.

LulzSec has listed all the email/password combinations they plundered over the weekend, and is offering a suggestion for what should be done with this information. Basically, the group is encouraging people to try the login info on Facebook and, if any of it works, to tell all the friends about said account holder's porn membership.

OK, on one hand: People need to learn what is (and what is not) an appropriate use of taxpayer funds. On the other hand? Encouraging the internet to hack people's Facebook accounts and shame them for having an account with an adult website that couldn't keep their information secure is beyond ridiculous. It's petty and spiteful.

This is actually the kind of thing I wouldn't mind these guys doing. THIS was actually funny. The problem is when they are just screwing people over for 'lulz'

Echer123:
Psh, who registers for porn?

Fools.

I couldn't agree more good sir, what fools!

vansau:

I assume you meant "... have accounts with .mil or .gov in them." ?
Why would I be surprised porn website associated people log into porn websites?
That seems very logical. :o

I like these guys. I only wish they'd hack Activision.
