EDIT: Hi guys. I cant remember name of a game that i played around 2002-2004. i don't remember the whole interface but it is about a war between dinosaurs and snails. the player has dinoasurs and snails are enemy. u start with weak dinosaur that eat grass and make eggs for increase population. other thing i remember that u must grow grass on field using rain and other things to survive ur dinosaurs. u can send ur strong dinosaurs for kill snails.
Can u help me to find this game?

can anybody help me?

I have been trying to remember this game for ever, can anyone help me?

-It was a PlayStation 2 game if I recall correctly.

-It was a pretty linear adventure game from what I remember (level to level).

-The story involved a large bird like creature.

-Can't remember the playable character, not sure if it was a human, animal or made up species.

-I also remember having to destroy these large grey eggs (that look a lot like regular seagull eggs in this day and age just bigger). I'm guessing these were lay'd by that giant bird we are pursuing.

-Sadly I can't remember what the purpose for the giant eggs were although I remember them bouncing as if they had a live creature trying to push itself out from inside the egg.

-Final boss battle is the fight with this giant bird like creature I think.

My doubts: For some reason I can't confirm for sure if the eggs were collected or destroyed but I'm 80% sure it was destroyed.

Thanks for any help :)

Okay so this game i used to play as quite a young child, you played as a youngish boy who possibly wasnt entirely human looking i cant remember. Im pretty sure the game was like inside the human body of something like that. I think you may have started off in a jail cell but im not sure. I dont remeber any of the quests but i remember there was a heart which was like the center of the game, which directed you places via artieries. And i remember an old lady with an apple head called 'granny smith'. i also remember this rope swing from a tree which was a donut.
Hope you guys can help! I know its a little vague

Howdy folks, I sure hope someone remembers the name of this one it's been bugging me for weeks.

Around the mid-90s I downloaded a shareware game for the Macintosh. It involved being stranded on a desert island and having to manage resources to survive and escape.

The island's terrain was arranged in grids and the different terrain types had different values for food production, etc.

I remember that the crops grew in four stages and you got the most food if you waited for the last stage.

I believe the number of squares you could work was based on your population.

Eventually if you prospered you could build a boat to escape the island - at which point you'd wind up stranded on a whole new island (level).

Hey guys, trying to figure out an old game and found this place. Here's what I remember: Pretty sure it was an old PC game from around the mid 90s. The game was fairly pixelated. It was an RPG. And the most memorable feature was that when you died it would show a tombstone with how you died on it. So it might say the adventurer was killed by slimes, or something like that. Thanks!

i have 1 game to ask. it should be a pc game, not sure if its MSDOS game or cd rom game, it should be a real time strategy game, it should only be single player game. it should be around 1996 i played it. there is a few resource point in the whole map, where when you occupy it, you will get income from it(if enemy takes it from you, you wont have the income). all resource point's building looks abit like a tower *padoga-like*(not very sure, memory abit blurry) its a military VS game, where the player units is red, and the enemy is blue. units are like *risk-like unit(board game risk *infantry type* )*, other than its much more simplified*, i remember there is such a stage where you can build a bridge (each building is a square box ,brown in colour, until you complete a line of square box of bridges across to the other side)across the river to attack the enemy territory. not very sure if its a chinese game. hopefully someone knows what game name i am talking about. thanks in advance!

This one has been bugging me for a very long time. It was a fantasy point and click adventure game on pc. It had pretty nice graphics (not 3D, just sprite work) I played it in the early to mid 90's. I don't remember much. You played a female. You wandered around a swamp/bog type place. There was a witch's hut. There was also a cave with treasure guarded by a rat or something. I didn't get very far into the game and that's all I remember. I hope someone can help me.

First game could be Spelunky or Spelunky could be cloned from it.

no thats not it it was 3D game and a download game for the pc

I'm trying to identity a game I played some time in the '90s.

It was a PC game, and I believe it was on Windows 95 or 98. It was basically a turn-based war game, viewed top-down, played on 9 little islands, set in the 3 rows and 3 columns. I think there might have been some grid squares with sea only.

You could play against 3 (at the most) computer opponents (possibly other human users too, though I can't remember for sure), where each player started in a corner of the map, which was fixed - no scrolling or fog of war. You won by capturing the enemy's home island, by simply having more of your units (or at least those of higher values) in their island grid square. On the way there you could capture enemy units by having more units or higher total units value in a grid square.

Possible units were soldiers, ships and planes. Units could be merged to form higher value units. For example, 2 or 3 little soldiers merged to form a big one, and the same for planes and ships.

Animation was extremely limited. Unit movement was basically drag and drop. The soldiers' feet might have moved. And there was some smoke and explosions as the battles where resolved for each grid square at the end of each turn.

Possibly the game might have been around when games like Doom, Heretics and the old Castle Wolfensteine were being played.

I have got some cleared places in my memory too. Around 2002 in our shopping center were placed Playstations (don´t know which one, sorry) with a game, but I remember just really small parts of it.
It was 3D. You play as a guy and you have some orange colored monster friend and I think you use him as a sword to hit another monsters. I remember collecting some things that looks like bonuses in Neon Rider World, just not blue but gold. (Google some pictures, you will recognize it when you see it) I remember getting one by hitting some big egg off the cliff and breaking it. Also, I remember level, where you were sliding in blue tunnel and evading tentacles and other obstacles coming from the ground, then you have to escape raising water in vertical tube by jumping on the platforms.
I remember I really liked to play it, but I don´t have single idea what the name could be. Thx for any help.

Really no one knows what it should be?

Found it!!! It's called Power. Forgot it had tanks too!

Bumping again to find this game. It's driving me crazy.

Some details may be off, but I believe this was the case: I think it was on an OS from the 90's, pretty sure some version of Windows. You played as someone (I think it was a skeleton, but I could be mistaken... Maybe a knight?), and you swung what I recall to be a mace around you to kill enemies. I think it was also in a bird's eye view, showing you a top down perspective. There were levels to the game, and I believe you proceeded by killing all the enemies. The way you attacked was by spinning your character around, thus spinning your weapon around. This is all that I remember of the game.

Hi guys . If u can call this game that i am looking for u are the best.
So in this game u play with a boy . Its like a bomberman game but insted of seting bombs ... u pick items to kill your foes. I remember that u can kill carnivour flowers with a gas , vampires with a stick , the wolfs with a silver bullet , Frankenstin with a electric bed .... and so on .
Please help me :) have a great day

Hi. I'm looking for this game for the past years, so please...

There was a guy on this thread that asked for the same game, but wasn't answered, then I'll use his information as well, as I cannot remember much of this game.

I swear in my mind that it was a point-and-click, but this guy remembered otherwise.

It was from the 90's, PC, the protagonist was female, she invaded a mansion. In the beginning, you had to hide her in the closet because a guy was coming. If he found her, she was put out, and then game over.

If you hide her in the closet, she explored the mansion after the guy was gone. I remember that I was stuck in a puzzle not long after, something like statues on a room that shoot red lasers (what) and you could move them, to point the laser somewhere else.

There was something about a wine cellar, an old woman in it, and a sound of a crying baby.

The guy on this thread also added that he thinks that this game is vampire-themed.

The game I am trying to remember was a children's game, and the main screen had a big ginger cat. the game had a few mini games in it like guiding a frog through a maze set to the music of a popular nursery rhyme. It wasn't the playroom. I thought it was just called 'preschool' or something but I can't find it. I think it had like a forest scene where you had to find objects. Any ideas? Thanks

So I remember playing a PC game, I want to say it was the mid to late 90s. It was a fantasy setting, and you had a certain number of points to create an army. The units, if I can remember, were some monsters like skeletons or goblins, and some humans. I specifically remember there being a unit called Journeyman. In any case, you would pit your army against I think 3 others at the same time, and they'd all crash together and you'd watch the battle play out. I remember when units died, their body parts would roll across the battlefield too. The battlefield itself was green around the sides with a muddy pit in the middle. I think there may have been something in the middle you were all aiming for too. It was a top down view.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hey Guys, I'm a bit new here, but i was wondering if any of you could help me. I used to have a free trial to a PC game around 2004-6 and it was basically like this:
1. A strategy game (maybe RTS?)
2. Set in feudal/ancient China
3. had similar building mechanics to SimCIty, as in roads and houses, but had the resource dependence of Age of Empires
4. you built things like Ceramics/Pottery and Kiln buildings or Towers or farms
5. building interface was in squares, everything was in a grid.
6. theoretically there were enemies i was supposed to defeat and i could build military buildings,(never really got to it since the trial-version rules severely limited what you could do)

Please help!

ANy ideas?

This has been driving me nuts!
So it was a demo on a PS1 demo disc and the game was very pretty and colorful. You had the choice of either playing as a girl or a boy. The girl had chakram like weapons and she could cast magic and the boy could turn into animals. Going along you encounter a girl being attacked by two men and when you apprehend them, they have pretty foul language. You fight them and beat them. You can climb up a really long staircase up to a house/shop thing in the sky where you fight a giant beast, and this is where the demo ends. The style is a bit like Final Fantasy or kingdom hearts, but its a pretty old demo, maybe 2000, 2001? Very colorful. Please help thanks!

I've been trying to find this game for a while now, it was a vertical shoot em up that i remember playing on the ps1.

You could choose the plane you started (there was maybe 8 or 9 planes to choose from), and each plane had it's own powers, for example, there was one with lasers, and when you filled up the special bar he had one big laser engulfing almost the whole screen for a few seconds. There was another that shot a missile and the explosion would stay in the area for a few seconds too.

It also had co-op on campaign, because I remember playing it with a friend of mine.

If anyone could help me that'd be awesome, thanks!

thank you so much!

(It's not Fable)I played this game on my PC back in 2007, I think. I bealive the game starts inside of the house, where there's main character and his mother. His steps were loud. I think he had like a cape or something like that on his back. The house is in some village you can talk to people and do things for them. There was a woman in the village holding a bucket of apples or flowers. There was some old guy's (probably uncle's) house which was locked at the beggining but later I manage to enter his house and I find noone inside of it. I remember that i wasn't allowed to leave the village so I had to sneak by the guard and there was like a cutscene for that. Then I play in some different village. I think it's played from the birds view.

Hey Guys. I vaguely remember playing a side-scrolling type of pc game where you were this jungle/cave(?) man with a bat and had to jump around (like over things and stuff) and keep moving forward. You could also collect food (I remember there were these chunks of meat). I know what i'm saying isn't much and there prolly are a lot of these kinds of games, but I just can't find it. The game is pretty old, that i can tell. I played it in 2002-2003(?), but im sure it came out earlier. I was like 5 when i last played it therefore I don't know (can't remember) more about the game. And for some random reason i started thinking about the game and can't seem to get it out of my head :D

Does anyone know what game that is?

This one may be a tuffy as my memory is spotty at best. It was an old Apple Macintosh game. Black and white (although could have just been the schools black and white monitor). Ate up an entire floppy disk for memory. Was a first person space game with aliens. If you shot and missed an alien you would shoot a hole in the ship and depressurize it and die. I seem to remember a persons name being spanner o'toole and being able to build a flamethrower. It was NOT Aliens from 1982.

Help me!

I remember playing a demo of a game when I was a kid, like more than 10 years ago. I think it was on PC. The game was, I think a RPG and it was in 3D, but instead of people there were balls of different colour. I think you played a green ball or something. I dont remember much detail, but I think one ball wore a cowboy hat and had a shotgun. The combat was as I remember turn based and you could move on like a grid or something or attack. Maybe the title had the word world in it, but Im not sure. Can anyone remember a game like that? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I remeber game, where you were controlling hero, the camera's view was from up, it was game something like 1990-98 i think, we played it in windows not sure if DOS or some win95 etc version. You were controlling 1 hero witch can claim some stones on the floor, he had to stay on the stone rune, it was helping him to give him mana or money i dont know with he used to summon some mobs like wolfs, skeletons ,etc and more... the point was to kill other main heroes. it was good to protec the stones on the floor by having there some minions, the stones were some circle or something like that... i remember there was some missions, but they werent so good like the map all vs all
