Less than a month before launch, Sony and Guerrilla Games have finally given us a closer look at the story this time in Horizon Forbidden West. Though just as beautiful as ever, PlayStation’s post-apocalyptic world looks to be on the brink of disaster in the game’s action-packed story trailer. Rival tribes are hunting down Aloy at every turn, and of course, they are utilizing those terrifying new mammoth enemies to keep the pressure on. Also, surprise, Carrie-Anne Moss has joined the cast as a character named Tilda, “a mysterious new character with a special connection to the ancient past.” Angela Bassett is additionally playing one of the main antagonists, Regalla. It’s been a long road to Guerrilla’s highly anticipated sequel, but the wait is almost over. The studio has at least been forthcoming with gameplay details, including information about how this game is different from its predecessor. For starters, Horizon Forbidden West has been created with player choice in mind. That means players will have access to tools with multiple uses, such as a paraglider that can be used for traversal and combat.
