Damn, thats a long time.

I played TF2 for probably more than 2000h since the day it got released. It's one of the few games that pushed all the right buttons for me.

Probably something between 500 and 1000 hours in Morrowind (over the course of 5 years).

I have never repeated/ surpassed this feat with any other game and I prolly never will.

I've had my fair share of games that eat my time: (in hours) (~ = approximately)
Final Fantasy X - ~100
Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and Birth by Sleep - ~100 each
Skyrim - ~200
Dissidia: Final Fantasy - ~250
Demon's Souls - ~150
Dark Souls - ~100
Disgaea 1, 2, 3 - No idea; hundreds probably
Yakuza 3, 4 - ~75 each
And finally, probably the one I'm most proud of:
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - ~1500

I'm somewhat respected among the people I hang around due to these times, actually.

I have over 13,000 hours on WoW. I started a few months after release. Take that for what you want, I don't regret it, and I haven't lost anything for it.

Second place is Holic, which...I don't even remember logging almost 400 hours of it.

And third, but first to not be an MMO, is 125 hours of Neverwinter Nights.

For consoles, the only one I can confirm is FF7, at 91 hours on one file.

I don't tend to stick with games for very long, I try to play as many games as possible (I tend to finish them once, and get bored during my second time)

http://www.xfire.com/profile/oplinger/

That's kind of a snapshot of my gaming past, not all of it is accurate. Alot of games I played and beat before they were supported by Xfire, so it may look like I didn't play them a lot.

Hmm...my longest ones would probably be:

Around 130 hours on Final Fantasy 10

Around 220 hours on Dissidia Final Fantasy

100+ hours on Devil May Cry 3
(I couldn't give a proper estimate with this one as the in game timer stops at 99:99:99)

I have about 250 hours on several different WoW characters ( the highest is only level 49, I just get bored of grinding).

In the last three years I must have spent more than that on the last three versions of Football Manager, and I don't want to know how much time I have spent playing the various iterations of Pokemon.

So in one game my highest play time is in WoW, but in a series of very similar games it's Football Manager or Pokemon

Reaper69lol:
So today, I have finally reached 1000 hours played in Team Fortress 2. Thats the second longest time ive spent on one game. First being World Of Warcraft with about 3000+ hours. Just out of curiousity and discussion value; Whats the longest time you spent on one game? And do you think because of that amount of time certain people will "look down" on you and make fun of you for that? Happened to me before, and still is, because of the amount of hours I spent on Wow.

Honestly, I look down on you for this. I spent around 1000 hours on WoW over about three years but yeah I still think this is... bad.

You know you could have probably learnt a whole language with those 4000 hours or an instrument or wrote a book or socialised or gone to the gym or literally anything else that actually had some kind of significance in the real world.

Are you going to keep playing?

Don't feel bad op, I have like 1300 hours on tf2 but that's over like 3 years. So im saying it isnt too bad unless you have a 1000 hours in like 2 months.

919 hours in Counter Strike Source
721 hours in TF2
220 hours in Garry's Mod
172 hours in BF3
168 hours in L4D2
139 hours in Civ V
119 hours in Skyrim
119 hours in Fallout NV

And that doesn't count all the other games I've played for less than a hundred hours.
I also have an unknown number of hours in WoW, but have since forgotten the large amount of gametime.

Whats the longest time you spent on one game?

Well, I spent so long on Pokémon Red that the timer broke at 255 hours.
Skyrim's currently at 237, and TF2 is at 298, though I do idle for my drops now and then.
Can't be arsed working out how long I've spent on WoW, but I've been subscribed since it was released, and I have many characters.

yikes, and i thought i played wow for a long time. i got it just around the time Burning Crusade came out, but took my sweet time levelling, so by the time i hit 70 (within 2 weeks i think even), WOTLK had come out and nobody ran any of those lv 70 instances. made me sad.
but anyway, i played fairly solidly for about 3 years, but just before Cataclysm came out, i simply lost interest. which was a damn good thing because i had just learned of Warhammer 40k, which has now taken over my life.

so total time spent on one game, for a quick recap:
Game: World of Warcraft (burning crusade, through Wrath of the lich king)
time: between 2 characters (main and primary alt), approximately 50 days. between all of the alts i tried then deleted: closer to 75 days.
time, simplified into hours: 1700+

Edit: OH! the games i currently play, i feel i should mention. the dawn of war series has cost me over 200 hours between the 3 games (i never got soul-storm on purpose).
Bioware games (Kotor, Mass effect 1 and 2) have cost me about the same amount of time, though mass effect's timer is still increasing as i go back to play different classes and make different decisions, to effect all 3 games.
Obsidian games (fallout 3, fallout: new vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim):...... i dont even want to count. the only reason i knew wow time was because they had the timer built in that gave you days to make it seem less bad. i would have to guess for these guys nearing 500 hours or more

i know what you mean, but im not entirely sure one can play for 41 days out of 60 and still be alive.

Counter Strike: source. im a bit afraid to find out....
*checks steam*
*waiting for steam to update*-.-
god damn it.
612 hours.

184 Hours on Fallout New Vegas and 78 on Fallout3. (Can I clump them together as NV is just an expansion?)
If not, 128 Hours on TF2.

Wow, I've wasted a lot of my life...

Nearly 300 hours in TF2.

ive probably spent a couple thousand hours playing Tibia. im sure thats my top-played game, as ive played it on and off since i started at the beginning of 2005. also, its an MMO, so you have to invest a lot of time grinding.

fallout 3 took my life when i lost mt job i racked up about 700 hours divided over 3 saves and this was before the add ons came out

PSO... defiantly... i've had about 3 characters i've spent over 300 hours on...

i've spent anywhere from 250 to 300 hours in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite...

I'm around 500 hours in TF2 ( And I started last summer!), and i think that is the most time I've ever spent on a game. ( I'm starting to get tired of it though.)

Most rpgs on average give me an average of between 60 to 100.
(Dragon Quest 8- 115 hours
Persona 3- 104 hours
Persona 4 (80 hours)
Fallout 3 ( 102 hours)
Chrono Trigger ( 65 hours)
Tales of Symphinia ( 100+ hours)

My combined WoW playtime is at least 365 days. DAYS.
Skyrim's about 260 hours.

wow. i only have about 100 hours, and i've had tf2 for a while now.

OT: my longest is pokemon emerald. i have 423 hours in that. it's taken about 6 years, but i'v leveled my entire party to 100, caught every pokemon that can be caught without trading (including legendaries), evolved all of them, and gotten at least silver on all of the battle frontier symbols.

NOW i can move on to Gen 4.

Actually I stopped playing WoW right after Cataclysm came out, funny enough I have started going to the gym awhile back also. As for an instrument, writing a book or socialising, cant say Ive done any of those things much, but hey atleast I'm not playing wow anymore. Still playing team fortress 2 and not planning to stop, especially since I got into competetive. Besides, nothing wrong with doing things you love, even if you spend ridiculous amount of time on them. Hobby and all I suppose.

Nalgas D. Lemur:

Kvaedi:
17891 hours in Runescape. Yep. I played that game obsessively from when I was 11-16, and haven't touched it since. Damn. That's a lot of time.

I can beat that on the MUD I used to run:

Nalgas D. Lemur was created on Thu Oct 23 22:19:38 1997
Played 62649 hours since creation

Would be higher and with an older date, but that's when we lost all the player files when switching servers. Of course, probably 80% of that was spent idle and not actually at the computer, and 80% of the rest was just goofing off and chatting with people, and it's spread out over more than a decade, but it's a pretty decently big number. Heh.

YEEEAAAAH! Finally someone posts in here with a bigger number than mine! Now I can feel slightly less pathetic, hahaha

465 hours on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I don't really count MMO's in these hour record thingies, since anyone could sink massive amounts of hours into a MMO. What about a normal game? It's very different, and sometimes more difficult to put in so many hours XD

I've made 1,012 hours in Garry's Mod, which is probably justified because I need it a lot.

L4d - 906.3 hours
L4D2 - 912.1 hours
Titan's Quest: Immortal Throne - 358.6 hours
Team Fortress 2 - 246.8 hours
Killing Floor - 184.5 hours

These times are all based on Steam's data tracking. Yeah, I'm a big L4D fan, competitive play in that game is tons of fun, especially with friends.

Oh god, that'll be MapleStory. I have no idea what my total hours are, but I played it all through middle school and about half of high school. I'd say I've got at least a couple thousand there.

The Sims is probably in second place there. And I'm talking about the original The Sims and expansion packs. Adding in The Sims 2 will boost it past MapleStory, but we're still talking thousands of hours with The Sims 1 and expansions alone.

Man, and I felt pathetic for spending >120 hours on every Final Fantasy game I've ever played. (150 on FFVII but I got EVERYTHING, including Knights of the Round.)

Right now, I'm at about 125 hours spent on Skyrim, 120 hours on TF2, and probably 150 hours each on the Cooking Mama and Phoenix Wright series.

Counting all the pokemon games together + time spent on team creation + time spent on Pokemon Online. It'll tick in between 1000-1500 hours.

In Warcraft 3 i played thousands of Lanpartys and Dota only had ~1500 games tracked on my Banning-program. That time + the other half which wasn't tracked + every other map i've played over the course of the release to the release of LoL is probably somewhere around 4000-5000 hours.

And of course LoL. both Beta + both Seasons is around 2000 games at least. That multiplied by an avarage game time of ~25-30min. Again 1000 hours.

Inbetween we have Cs, BF, WoW and Diablo which got the also alot of love in the last 10 years :)
Seems like i had way to much time on my hand there.

I've pumped over 70 hours into Mirror's Edge. Which is surprising when you realize that... well... it's Mirror's Edge.

No idea how much time I've racked up in WoW, probably more than 1000 hours, but I do know that I've managed to rack up 400 hours on Dota 2, and I've only been on the beta since 24th November last year. Which is just ridiculous, really. Fucking game is so addictive.

I don't know about being 'looked down' upon... I don't really care about that kind of thing, although I don't exactly tell everyone I see about it.

I'm not that far behind OP actually. TF2 is my most played game of all time (that I can remember), with around 800 hours clocked so far. No idling either, I don't cheat for my items. :P

Probably Ragnarok Online for me.
So much time... I don't really want to think about it. This was before "stat tracking" seemed to be wide spread. Now I'm an adult with no time :(

800 hours in... Star Wars: Galaxies.
Would of been more, but SWG came down with schizophrenia.

I've got over 630 hours on skyrim 92 on half life 2, and months on minecraft.
